Key Purpose  

•To set the long term brand strategic direction

•To develop and implement activation plans to deliver agreed brand consumer & financial targets

Department Purpose

The vision for Pernod Ricard UK’s marketing department is to become the most progressive and effective marketing team in the Drinks sector. As a Brand, Experiential or Insights Marketer, your role will focus on building meaningful consumer relationships with our brands by having consumer insight at the heart of all decisions. As a Brand Marketeer, you will have overall responsibility for the brands strategic development and will lead the progression of integrated and innovative programmes for our brands. This will include development integrated content marketing via social, digital, influencer partnerships and more traditional media planning such as OOH.

Key Responsibilities  

- Delivery of annual 4 year strategic plan and brand plan based on relevant consumer insight, marketplace dynamics & detailed competitor understanding

- Delivery of communications plans

- Manage relationships with external agencies to deliver communications plans

- Work effectively with Global Marketing team to select and implement activities that deliver against the brand plan

- Identification of consumer insights

- Briefing of consumer research as required

- Monitor monthly brand performance, identify any variances against plan & recommendation of appropriate remedial actions

- Effective management of the 'day-to-day' brand administration

- To be a passionate brand champion

- Work closely with customer marketing and commercial teams to deliver brand business objectives

- To identify innovative opportunities to drive incremental business growth
