This role is offered on an initial 6 month fixed term contact until 28/02/2019. It is also a part-time 0.5 role, working "month-end" only.
The month-end only working pattern will support our peaks of activity and is roughly 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

If you want to work in a Finance team with this ethos, then we have a vacancy in our Payments and Ledger Operations team; part of Group Finance and a Centre of Excellence providing end to end finance processes for the whole of Lloyds Banking Group.

You'll carry out a range of clerical and technical support tasks to deliver quality service to customers and internal colleagues. Happy working with spread sheets you'll have a good knowledge of Microsoft excel.

Some of the specific tasks include:
- Investigating rejected credit card transactions and repayments
- Queries, including unidentified customers credits
- Generating daily payment files
- Daily settlements

You'll need to build relationships with key stakeholders to clarify facts and exchange information, resolving enquiries and escalating issues where required. We're looking for people who have a real desire to help customers and who can identify and suggest improvements to existing processes. You'll also have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to organise and prioritise your workload to ensure work is completed within the deadlines.

Working both individually and as part of a team, collaborative working and your attention to detail will be key to your success.
