£7697.98 per annum for 20 hours per week over the lunchtime period, Monday to Friday, term time only (38.2 weeks per year) based across the Elmbridge Area.

Commercial Services is a service within the Families Directorate of Surrey County Council. Commercial Services has three divisions, Education Catering, Civic Catering, Schools Equipment maintenance service and employs approximately 1400, staff deployed approximately in 500 locations around the County.

As a Cook you will help lead our friendly Elmbridge District catering teams, where you will be at the forefront in providing healthy school lunches to the children.
A typical shift would consist of but not be limited to:
- Leading and participating in the preparation and cooking of the meals.
- Cleaning up after the food service has ended
- Assisting in ordering supplies.

To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Experience of working in catering (prepping, cooking and delivery of meals, in addition to ordering supplies).
- NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent experience.
- Working as part of a team.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with time constraints.
