We are working with a growing firm based in the heart of Manchester’s Innovation District (M15) . They are offering a great opportunity to join their team working as a Part-time Finance Officer ( 25 hours per week with suggested hours 9-3 Monday to Friday )
This is a new and varied role ideally suited to candidates with a solid finance background and ideally a relevant qualification or studying to obtain one. It will also include providing support in some related administrative tasks and general helping the Team in the day to day running of the office.
Main duties will cover Accounting, Payroll and HR and will include:
- Payroll and Queries ( Able Payroll system experience an advantage )
- Collation and preparation of Sales invoices and supplier payments
- Staff expenses
- Sales, supplier and purchase ledger management and Bacs payments
- Stationery ordering and HR Administration
- Basic Facilities tasks
Knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero is desirable but similar systems also considered however good numeracy skills and attention to detail in addition to good word and excel skills including using pivot tables is key.
