Finance Manager - Financial Reporting (Insurance Finance)

In joining the Financial Reporting team within the Insurance Finance area as a Finance Manager you'd have a role that matters by managing the production of robust statutory reporting, regulatory reporting and financial analysis. In addition you'll be working in partnership with other finance areas to understand current trends and impacts and providing data driven insight which will ensure compliant reporting and allow operational decision making.
Working from one of our core hub offices in Bristol, you'll be part of the Insurance division who create and manage customer focused Insurance products for our iconic Scottish Widows brand. More specifically, the Financial Reporting department are accountable for statutory reporting, regulatory reporting and financial control across the Insurance division.
You'll also manage a team undertaking regular production and interpretation of divisional reporting, statutory accounts and other related reporting for Directors and Senior Management. With your previous experience of working in a financial reporting role within Financial Services, you'll know how to engage with Senior Management and produce quality statutory reporting appropriate for leadership review.
Whilst Insurance experience would be beneficial we'd also be interested in hearing from other qualified accountants with a strong statutory reporting, regulatory reporting or audit background within Financial Services.
