The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Strategic Corporate Partnerships Team and to help us raise funds for this amazing cause.

The Strategic Corporate Partnerships Team is set to become a huge value creator for the RNLI so we need people with an enthusiastic, creative and driven approach to join our team. If you would like to shape and develop high profile partnerships that will showcase and support the work of the RNLI on a national scale, this is the role for you.  You will be responsible for delivering new business income, managing and upgrading existing partnerships, and creating multi-faceted partnerships for the RNLI.

Apart from a keen interest in the cause, the ideal candidate will already have a proven track record in a fundraising environment. They will have demonstrable experience of developing innovative corporate propositions and significant experience of securing new business. This role requires someone with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, who is comfortable delivering stretching targets. Previous experience in sponsorship is desirable but not essential.

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to travel around the UK and ROI, and also attend meetings at our Poole HQ at least once a month.

Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards our goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using our expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
